How to Build a Landing Page with HubSpot

Do you want to build a free landing page using HubSpot? If yes, this guide is here to help you.

HubSpot is a popular CRM software that helps you manage customer’s data, communicate and track the customer journey through the entire sales process.

Although HubSpot is primarily a CRM software, it has other features like a landing page builder, meeting scheduling, form builder, e-commerce store and so many more.

Why you should build with HubSpot

HubSpot is an all-in-one sales platform. If your aim of having a landing is to collect leads and manage and communicate with your leads, then HubSpot might be the perfect match for you.

Some other features of the HubSpot Landing page builder include;

Advanced Analytics

After creating your landing page with the HubSpot free landing page builder, you can track how many visitors landed on your page, the traffic source, the country, how long they spent on the page and a whole lot more.

This helps you to know if your marketing campaigns and other traffic generation techniques are working. It also helps you in decision-making. Although the HubSpot analytics feature is not as advanced as the Google Analytics tool, it gives more reports than some other tools in the marketplace.

Free CRM

With its generous CRM offer, it’s a no-brainer to use the HubSpot Landing page builder because it gives you access to the free CRM tool.

HubSpot free CRM lets you manage up to 1 million contacts for free. Unless you are a state government, this is more than enough for your business.

Hosting your landing page with HubSpot gives you direct access to its free CRM tool.

Email Marketing

Do you need to email your leads? After collecting your leads through your landing page and hosting them on the HubSpot CRM tool, you can send an email to all your contacts.

The email marketing feature on HubSpot shows you statistics like the open rates, the exact time the email was read, message history, and lots more.

Note that the free plan has a limit to how many emails you can send daily.

There are also hundreds of integrations if you want to integrate your email marketing with other software.

Drag and Drop Editor

As with other page builder tools, you do not necessarily need to know how to code before you can build a landing page with the HubSpot free landing page builder.

It comes with simple drag-and-drop elements for designing your page.

Forms

HubSpot allows you to build a form for free. This form can also be used to collect contact details in place of a landing page. HubSpot forms are faster to build, and can be hosted for free on HubSpot or embedded on a website.

The leads collected through the forms are sent to the HubSpot CRM software.

Disadvantages of Using HubSpot to Build your Landing Page

Cost

HubSpot is an ecosystem of marketing and sales software. While there are free tools to draw you into the system, it can become pretty expensive when you want to use other advanced features.

Many essential marketing tools that you may need to grow your business are tied to high-tier packages which may not be affordable to small businesses and solopreneurs.

Not Beginner Friendly

The landing page builder is quite easy to use, however, if you plan to use other tools that come with HubSpot, they are not so beginner-friendly.

You may have to consume lots of YouTube tutorials to understand how the platform works.

Luckily, there are thousands of tutorials on YouTube and Reddit to assist you when you meet some roadblocks.

Additional Cost for Support

If you need customer service support, you will need to pay more for that. This buttresses the fact that you need to watch extensive hours of YouTube tutorials to learn how to use some features on HubSpot.

Annual Contracts

You’re locked into a year-long contract and can’t get a refund if you decide to stop using HubSpot before the term ends.

Perhaps you are using HubSpot only for its landing page builder and CRM feature, then you do not have to worry about the pricing as you can use all these for free.
